Bad Habit: All sugary beverages
New habit: Have beverages plain or with a low-calorie sweetener

Week 2
Bad Habit: All fried foods
New Habit: More steamed vegetables or fresh salads in every meal

Week 3
Bad Habit: All regular varieties of milk, yogurt and cheese
New Habit: Use low/non-fat varieties of milk, yogurt and cheese with equal serving sizes

Week 4
Bad Habit: Noodles every other day
New Habit: Noodles once a week

Week 5
Bad Habit: Biscuits and potato chips as snacks
New Habit: Non-fat protein shake/bar or muesli with non-fat milk

Week 6
Bad Habit: Butter / margarine spread on white bread
New Habit: Avocado / thin 100% fruit jam on wholegrain bread

Week 7
Bad Habit: Using cooking oil when preparing dishes at home
New Habit: Use cooking spray or pour oil on a piece of tissue and gently wipe it on the surface of the pan

Bad Habit: Ordering a T-Bone steak with French fries/mashed potato when eating out
New Habit: Order plain-grilled tenderloin steak with steamed vegetables

New Habit: Brown rice

Bad Habit: Sweet desserts after each meal
New Habit: low-calorie syrup / 100% fruit juice with no added sugar
